what measures can be taken from my side to get my rights during the holy month of ramadan?

i read that during the holy month of ramadan the labor law reduces the working hours from 8 to 6 hours.

my normal schedual is from 8am till 7pm with 2 hours lunch break which i seldonly take.

the administration is keeping this schedual as it is during the holy month of ramadan.

it is not that i dont like to work but i feel that part of my rights have been taken away. Friends and family gather in the afternoon and have fun while i sit in the office not doing much.

i noticed that this behavior from my company is creating an opposite reaction and the team productivity and morality is very low.

if the negotiations with the administration has failed till now, what measures can i take to bring back my coworkers' and my own rights?

Forget about the rights..Just concentrate on your working or else you will end up in loosing the job...

It's solely on the discretion of the companies whether to provide 6 or 8hrs of working during RAMADAN..No one can force its boss/employer to change the rule...So bear with it..All the best..

Dear Gyazbeck,

No body would feel pity for you, b'coz thats reality here

and you have to live with that. You are blessed that only

part of your rights are taken away, where as for many

their whole lot of rights are taken away, since the day they came here, cant help, beggers are not choosers !!!!!!

A bird in hand is worth than two in the bush. our rights

are now null & void once the contract was signed by us.

Be happy, work for company's growth and your satisfaction.
