What is the meaning of Regret

In life one have to take so many decisions but we should be careful and let other true friends give us their opinion out of their experience to avoid undesirable result. but despit being so carful of taking prudent decision but the result was regretful you are not to be blamed. So move on.

there have been times I've regretted doing/saying something and not doing/saying anything as well. But I do prefer the latter to the former.

I did what I had to do

And saw it through without exemption

It's all depends upon the situations and one's good self is the better judge.

better do than don't. my credo. hence, same here LP, no regrets so far.. even about my most dangerous, advanced, risky even silly adventures.. better fail while trying than regret that didn't try.

depends what you're talking about. I'd regret not talking to a girl I know and telling her how I feel about her, rather than telling her and regretting that she turned me down.

But on the other hand, I'd rather regret not swimming in a sea infested with killer sharks than regret a severed arm or leg after my swim.
