What is the best way to find a runaway deptor?

I have a relative who's in need of money. Her name is Imelda. Imelda is applying for a Tourist Visa in London & she needed that money to deposit it to her Bank Account for her to pass the requirements of the British Embassy. She is actually my 2nd degree cousin & we just met here in Qatar. I was kinda short that time so i referred her to someonelse bec. im still willing to help her.. Before I continue the story i just want you all to know that I really made a terrible mistake of trusting somebody & i already accept the fact that im sooo.. STUPID.. Thank you & please dont try to mention it again and again. But i only did it just to help someone in need. So we went to this woman whom i referred her to. I was a good payer to this woman & she wont even have second thoughts to lend me money once again. We took QR.5,000/- with 12% interest. We signed a few papers showing that i am the Deptor, & my cousin is the Guarrantor. My cousin also issued a P.D. Cheque amounting to QR. 5000/- I gave all the money to my cousin. A few weeks later i found out that she's already in London without telling me. I tried calling her, SMS, Chat, E-mail but there was no response.. in short, she ran away & obviuosly not willing to pay her debts. I also tried calling her friends & relatives but nobody know where she is. She's been there for almost two months under tourist Visa. I saw her pictures on Facebook & she is really there. Last week i found out that she back here in qatar. Her tourist Visa might have expired so she has to leave London. I tried to find her but there was no luck. I dont even know where she lives. I drop her once in her house in Dafna but could remember the exact location. I spend two nights roaming around Dafna. She actually came back on Jan. 10. I also found out that she got married to a Muslim Jordanian man last year & holding Husband Visa here in Qatar before she left. I am very sure that she is staying with her husband now. Her husband is working in City centre. I stalked at him & tried to follow him along the road but i always lose him. He really drives fast. I made 3 attemps.

So tell me guys.. how can i find her? For sure she's still here to process her papers to go back to London bec. there is a job waiting for her there. I cant sue her since i am the Deptor.

As far as I can tell, she hasn't done anything illegal. You had an agreement for her to pay you back for the loan you took out - is that in writing? If not, you will have to appeal to be better nature. Good luck.

Bro, If all diplomatic means have been used then just go to the Capital Police and file a complain against the said person. Give them all the possible informations and proofs so that the police officer/s will call them to come to the station if not they will send somebody to pick them up. This is what I did to one of my runaway and she regret it.

Cheers,

Just forget about 5000QR. Probably you got any kind of advantage from her for borrowing the money now she has balanced that money thinking of what you got from her. Now this deal is old now passed over a year. I 'd only say

There is something behind the wall

night has passed away forget about yesterday

Um... go to the police about it! The only problem is, she is only the guarantour of the loan, which means that if you couldn't pay, she would have to.

Unless you have any legal contracts between you and your cousin stating that the monet was for her, it is more or less your word against hers, the loan is in your name, even though the money was given to her.

You are responsible unless there is any legal documentation showing the agreement between you and your cousing. Why did she come to you? Why couldn't the loan be made out in her name? Why couldn't her husband help?

Hope this doesn't sound too rude or condescending... If it does, I'm sorry.

Buddy,

1. If you are sure of her husband and as u told us tat she is ur 2nd cousin, then meet her husband and tell him that you have seen her with him in some place and tell ur relationship with her to him and casually ask for her details (like Workplace, her future plans) not more than tat. If he is not coming on track, heir a driver who is an expert in driving and try to find the place where she lives.

2. As u said she is ur cousin, call her parents back home and speak casually for first time and then second time take her contact details from them by which u can trace her easily.

3. If u can find her workplace then everything is very easy.

Happy Tracing and May God Help you to get your lost money

Regards,

Anwar

Can't you just call the police, instead of you following her or her husband everywhere?

I know somebody like her. And from the looks of it, she may not voluntarily pay you. Try to get her husband's contact number and tell him everything.

This should serve as a lesson to you. Be careful next time.
