WANT TO CHANGE STATUS

I am an Engineer by profeesion called in Qatar by a newly established construction firm.

As it is difficult to get visa for pakistani guys they told me that i have to come to Qatar on Driver status.

Now i have driver iqama can I change my status to Engineer now and get Engineer Iqama?

I have my degrees attested from Immigration.

Should i have to wait for 6 months?

Apply to the Immigration department now through your Mandoob, who would do all the procedure for you, and if you want more information then visit the Immigration department and speak with the Captain there. Also they have displayed the procedural steps in their building, that are visible to the visitors.
