Hello Fazla: Since I am an easterner, I have called you by your full name and not "Faz" which really makes no sense. There are people who love to copy the west. But then as the saying goes: A wolf in a sheep's clothing, still remains a wolf. I love my eastern culture and its values.
I could not comment on your query as my wife passed this stage long ago and I have no first-hand information on any hospital in Doha in the field of maternity . But here is a link that may give you an insight of Al Wakra Hopsital and its gynecology section. This is to just help you out in any way I could. Also, over the years I have heard and read very positive views and comments from people who have used the maternity facility at Al Wakra Hospital.
Yes MM that is the main point to remember since it is prescribed in Islam.
My wife didnt know she had to ask her Health center physician to give female gynaec appointment in Wakra Hospital and ended up getting male gynaec. She refused to uncover in front of male doctor and asked for female gynaec so her appointment got delayed by one month. Getting delays in appointment is not right during pregnancy.
Hence, I advised sister so that her appointment does not get delayed.
If you are going through Health Center then specify them that when they transfer you to Wakra Hospital, they should give Lady Gynaec appointment to you. If you do not specify, they will give male gynaec appointment.
