Greetings members,
I'm new here in Qatar and this is my first post in this forum. I will be greatly obliged in anyone can reply to my below question:
1) My PRO says my Q-ID and passport is sent back to me by immigration via Q-Post. What would be the normal duration until it reaches me? It was sent apparently on 23rd August. Is there any way to track the papers in Q-Post
2) I heard about the strange rule to have 6 months bank statement before we can apply for family residence. Is it true? are there any work arounds?
3) What are the steps for applying family visit?
4) How long would it take to get the visa for my wife and a child
Your suggestions and guidance would be highly appreciated

yeap check with QPost. Which Qpost? There are so many QPosts. Probably the nearest QPOST in your home address. It is not a strange rule. It is Qatar Immigration rule. None, you have to wait 6 months. Once you finish or at least before 6 months, then your HR will help you apply for family visit visa. It takes 1 week to 3 months. Still depending on circumstances.
