Visa for Saudi Arabia visit

Dear,

I would really appreciate if you guys could help me on this.

I am looking for a way to visit Saudi Arabia for less than a month visit. I can either fly, or go by road. But I have no idea which visas will be applicable for this purpose. I have seen the idea of Transit visa as if pretending to travel to UAE but, its risky as I wish to travel to Jeddah during my course of visit.

Looking forward hearing from y'all geniuses :)

Thank you,
Best Regards,
Mohammed Ashfaq

Thanks for suggestions everyone!! Really helpful. I am planning for this trip in January. Planning to travel alone and I stayed in Saudi before, so I am familiar within Saudi trips. Appreciate everybody's responses.

The trip by road is easy. If you are going with yoru family you need to ensure that you rest and hence stay one night in Riyadh and anothe rnight in Taif. Youll find plenty of hotels on the way.

Make sure you bbok your hotel in Mecca. After the night in Taif, move to Mecca and do you umra confortably and fully rested.

Note that the umra visa will not open till end of December as the Hajj season has just finished.

If you desire to travel by road, I could guide you as I have been to Makkah and Medinah several times by car. You may contact me if you wish. Please send me your mobile number and I will contact you to set up a meeting somewhere.

Unlike Qatar Visit visa is allowed to blood relations even not to brother or sister. One can sponsor to their families only vertically not horizontally in relation.

Umrah visa is i think valid for 15 days only. and u can visit Jeddah as there is no airport in Makkah. So for umrah you have to take flights from Jeddah. but the person is allowed to visit Makkah and Madina only besides Jeddah. if you have nay relative in Jeddah then it will easy for you to stay in Jeddah.

@mast kalandar, you took Umrah visa from one of the agents here in Doha, and went to Saudi through car? How was your experience and how was the journey there. If you could be more detailed about the visa and journey? I am planning something like that! appreciate to hear from you :D

I have personally seen people being off-loaded from buses and taxis when travelling to Jeddah from Makkah when they were there for Haj or Umrah. But that was several years back. May be the rules have been somewhat relaxed now. I am not sure.

Even if you take an Umrah visa, you will not be allowed to stay in Jeddah or visit the place. Umrah visa allows you to stay in Makkah and Medinah only. If you have friends and relatives living in Jeddah, they can of course visit you. The cost of getting an Umrah visa through an agent is not that much. The last time I took one, they charged me just QR 250.

I am 26 years old. And if I am to take an Umrah visa, do I have to involve travel agents, so I can do it directly? I don't have a blood relation, its my uncle living there (mother's brother).

Than you should get UMRA visa because Saudi visit visa issued only on sponsorship base, if you have any blood relation in Saudi he can sponsor you if your age 45+.
