Hi everyone! I am a widowed of my Qatari husband living here in Qatar, I got my family visa almost 3 yrs now but the required time should have for 5 yrs long, but unfortunately my husband was died so I don't know what should be later on....if should I have right or eligible for Qatari passport or not? My FAMILY VISA will be expire nxt month, the question is: 1) If it will takes a renewal... who will be responsible to sign as my husband was died & he was my sponsor...my step-son who was given by the power of attorney? 2) If it takes a transfering sponsorship, ofcourse it goes to my step-son..... what kind of VISA should be give to me? 3) or will be cancel me and send me back home? I need to know more about. Please reply... thank you very much.

you do have rights for the qatari passport. you have to apply at the main branch of the Immigration office at Garrafa, gate #5. If your step-sun is over 18 years old, he will sign for you. If he is under 18 y.o, the government will sign for you.

Sorry for your lost and good luck!
