Visa on Arrival after Exiting and Re-entering Qatar on same day

Hello all,

I have a little query.

I am in Qatar on a visit visa (on arrival) for 30 days. I need to stay here for another month but i cannot extend the visa because i hold a Pakistani passport.

Now to get another VOA for another 30 days, I want to exit to Muscat (Oman) and then re-enter Doha (Qatar) after a few hours on the same day by taking the very next available return flight i.e. i will be transiting in Muscat for a few hours. My question is, if i transit in Muscat for 3-4 hours would i need a visa for Oman? Or can i just exit Doha and land at Muscat airport and wait for my next flight and come back to Doha, is it possible without a visa?

P.S. i will stay at the airport and dont want to pass through immigration
