Just seen large very thin dog outside Beverley Hills 3 on Al Waab. It is limping and looks in bad shape. Don't know who you contact to get help for this dog. Can anybody help.
I have read about the desert foxes, Yhey are too small. Not worth the hunt. And some university here is trying to conserve them. So Fox hunting is illegal.
On the subject of pets. There's a few cats I'm taking care of at the moment and I'm looking to rehome then. I've got one mother cat and 4 kittens (about 5 months old). Anyone that's interested, doesn't have to take all. One would be fine. Or however much you'd want.
I've tried Qaws and hanging up adds at the vet, but no luck so far...
My son arranged a relief bake sale at his school. He raised over QR 2000 last week alone and took it to buy supplies for these guys in the make-shift housing on construction sites.
Next week will be a used book sale. If you would like to help out you are more than welcome :)
Books are easier than bake sales, if you would have posted this last week I would have asked you to bake 100 cookies lol.

charan, I am just trying to get the attention onto hundreds of suffering humans here. There is so much concern about one animal. Who cares for the humans?
As for the men being thin, it is probably an Indian. They are similar to a Pakistani and are used by the locals for construction. These are the most common strays here also.
Just seen small, very thin people inside Industrial Area. Some are limping and look in bad shape. Don't know who you contact to get help for these humans. Can anybody help.
You could pick the dog up and take it to the free clinic near the parachute R/A. Alternatively you can contact QAWS, just search their name on this site.
As for the dog being thin, it is probably a saluki. They are similar to a grey hound and are used by the locals for hunting. These are th most common strays here also.

-it's inside...-
A Saluki will see them.
I have not seen any in the desert so far.
rabbits, edifis.
What to the locals hunt with a Saluki, surely the Salukis can't hunt Camels. As for tracking, I think Camels are not that difficult to track.
The number of QAWS is 5396074
BUT I think you should take the dog to the Vet first.....
The Doha vetenarysurgery is : 4367187 (it`s near Hamad hospital)
Paul Hensen is : 4877144 (it`s near Burger King R/A)
