Unfortunate Circumstance

Last night, someone I know and two other girls who have been living in Al Sadd area for years was mugged while walking home.
The man was riding a bike and purposely rammed into them, hurting one of them and then speeded off with her purse and 5000 QAR worth of cash and belongings.
Nobody was around the help them. They went to the police station to file a report anyway.
I was so shocked of the news. Never thought this could happen around Doha. Have to be careful now...
to victimize the same area, the police will be more vigilant and actually catch this guy...I hope your friend is alright...money can be replaced but health is very fragile...
Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.
Police will chase back of these culprit in their CAMELS's ........
tsk.. tsk.. wonder what will be our police do about this?

100% agree to that....
It can happen anywhere. Just because it's a safe city doesn't mean you should let your guard down.
many things happen in Doha now. You just need to be a little more vigilant.
