Go to London.. Base yourself there. Have a look ate the sights including art galleries and museums.
If you have time, then take a single or two day trips to the Lake District (lots of greenery and water) and perhaps Oxford and Cambridge.
Also, please remember that it will be cold and rainy next month.

you should go down to Virgin, buy a guide book of London. People like to buy lonely planet, but we always get DK.
