Two-Way Radios in Qatar

Hi All,
I would like anybody can give some information regarding using two-way radios (walkie talkie) in Qatar. Do I need Qatar gov approval if I buy (from abroad) a set of the radio for using it in Qatar? What is the regulation here? What type of two-way radios spesification that can be used without a license to use it?

I have only seen one place here that sells hand held radios and they are marine band but work quite nice and I was not told of any restrictions for Qatar when I purchased mine but I know some of the channels are reserved internationally. BTW that is at Lingawi Marine. I have some Motorola handy-talkys and the Qatari Military is aware of them and have also never said anything but that doesn't mean they are legal. There is an Amateur Radio Club in Doha and they might be able to help.

i think now way to bring any rdio from abroad ..

what i am sure about that the radios will be programed by Qtel(qatar telecom. )
