Dear All,

I would like to visit Dubai this eid holidays with my family . I have got some doubts which i wish to clarify with someone who went through this before. Really appreciate any feedback in this regards.

I am Indian national by origin and staying in Qatar for 6 years now.

·         Can I rent a car in Dubai airport with my Qatar DL for about 3-4 days ( I do not have an international license)

·         Second, my family is in RP and they are just 3 months old in Qatar, I heard to get an on arrival visa in Dubai one should be staying in Qatar (r p valid) for minimum 6 months . is that applicable to family accompanying us too .

Any advice will be of great help. Thanks

Yes you can. I asure your qatar DL can valud all in GCC. U can get rent car in dubai airport by given them copy pasport, QID, qatar DL. And need credit card for security deposit will return after 14 days returned the car.

You cannot drive with your Qatar DL in UAE. You should have a international license. You can get a more clear clarification from any renta car company at the airport.

I dont think that 6 month rule is applicable for your family, means they could travel with you.
