even though national holiday means it may be only for few people. sometimes everyone can't enjoy the celebration. Only family can enjoy. In this country who need more relaxe and entertainment from the work stress and lonelyness than a family guy, it is always denies. What we (Bachelers) have to do? Just sit in the room and curse yourself..

Have you gone insane to work on a day of honor and solidarity.........you can sew them by filing a complaint in labor department.........so be a man and go ahead and make a complaint to bring in a revolution in ur company and help your poor brothers working there without raising their voices...you will be remembered for years if you did this good deed for the sake of your fellow colleauges.....go ahead and sue your company who is allowing u to work on a holiday of a national day calibre.

Last Year they made a penalty 50000 QR for any entity that will open that day, but notice sth., they are giving people the 17th day which is before the national day, so dont know what will be thier penalty if exists

NO such rule, if the work demands than employer can ask employees to work and pay them overtime as per Qatar Labor Law.
