Silver gold- I am having loan of around 70k out standing & 12k credit card payment. But I got terminated from employer and I got another offer in UAE. Around 50k will come to bank as my settlement. I would like to close the loan if they give me some discounts on the out standing.but I visited the collection department but they are not ready to give any discount. If u could help me to get the same.

Credit card has credit shield , bank is saying 2 weeks to get the credit shield . In fact my visa is got cancelled and I have exit permit swell for another week. I need to move from country as early as possible. Please advise

i went today and clarified about it and they told me that i already have a court case and the only way they can remove it is for me to pay the full amount of my loan which is so impossible because if i have the capacity to do it, i should have done it long time and not suffered for 4 months waiting for my companies' mercy... i mean the reason why my previous company gave me NOC is because they are convienced that i really cannot pay the loan and they dont want me to be stuck here.... hope you can give me some advice.

I had a concern regarding my loan in CBQ also, i was terminated by my company last January 23, 2013 and they informed CBQ about it, during that time, my company stands that they are not giving NOC, so i patiently waited and negotiated with my company until now but meanwhile, i am still paying my monthly obligations with the bank (for my loan), then now that my company told me that they are already willing to give me NOC, they cannot at the moment because according to them, the bank has already a court case against me, so they advise me to check this out with CBQ,

im afraid maybe cbq will file a case for me.. and what if after a year is it possible to come back and look for another job so i can pay my loan?

my company terminated my contract and sent me back to my country.they said they already informed the bank that im leaving qatar soon for good but the bank haven't replied yet.. i asked cbq if my company did and i found it that they are lying.. since the imigartion didnt stamp my rp as cancelled,is it possible to come back to nogotiate with the bank about my problems regarding my loan? cos running away with may loans is not on my list.. its just my company forced me to leaved.waiting for yor advice..

hi does it apply to all banks to settle the credit card shields for 2 months?i got my loan from commercial bank.what about my loan?do i have the chance to go home to my country or not?insurance cover job lost or not?thanks for the information my friend.

silvergold meaning i will inform them already.anyway i will pass by to them even i dont have my termination paper with me.The question is last saturday its already for final signing and then suddenly they hold it because of the benefits i should take.at first they are giving it and last sunday they told me maybe they will not give my benefits.I dont have any unpaid monthly payments from my loan.up to the last payment last month i still have.

yours company knows you a loan so they must inform to bank...... what u do play diplomatically with cbq people ..... tell them my relation with my company is going not goood ... any time any thing happens from company...... just like this now more and dont give my reference like that :)

because im thinking also that maybe my employer will not inform the bank that im terminated only.....maybe only...

our company is not on their list to give loans.we are 4 people applying for loan and its only mine was approved when we ask them why for me was approved and the others not in which we are the same company they answer its because our company doesnt comply with the standard letter we are asking for.they stop already giving loans to our company.

thanks for all the info.silvergold871 my loan is in commercial bank.So i should start to look for other job and ask release from my cmpny.Until now i still did not come to inform my bank because im still waiting for my termination paper so i can present it to them.

2 months claearnce required only from doha & mashriq .. rest other banks can provide in 1 day.. i am talking of claerance letter from the banks.

Doha is worst still 2 months i didnot get the NOC from the bank after settelement.

From QNB i got the clearance letter in a day.

Please note some credit cards from bank dont having insurance shield and they have agencies all over the world. Cannot escape. If this is the case you need to pay it off.

Same was happened with me in 2012 but i got the NOC and new employment. Only 3 months i didnot able to pay to bank for credit cards and they sent agents to my home country .. was very horible.

Doha bank is worst and registered my complain to police.

Now i am settling here again every thing.

Regarding personal loan which i was having i talked with the CBQ ..... even they required a guaranter for me to leave the country for exit to come in again for a new job.

In nut and shell .. cannot release unless you could clear all amount. The chance is that you can be considered for some discount otherwise no chnace dear.

This is fact.

Why do eveyone go for a bankloan if it is not really necessary. I have noticed that majority of some Nationals are running behind bank loans (no offense intended)

Exactly Patience 2012, You now have room and time to plot your next move. Either he gives you a NOC to work somewhere else and complete your payments or he settles the outstanding with the bank himself, which they rarely do.

This is important. Unless you were "summarily terminated" (instant) your company still has to pay your benefits such as gratuity.

Patience 2012 : if you have credit shield protection in your credit card the insurance will pay your outstanding amount upto your termination date.

For example if you spend 10,000 qr on termination date the insurance will pay the amount after passing your paper from insurance the bank will repay back in 12 months in equal installments.

There is no link between insurance and credit card clearance issue. First you have settle all the amount in credit card + loan other wise you will not get clearance letter from the bank.

For settlemnt of credit shield insurance protection it took minimum 2 months after applying the claims.

Good old joe what you mean is i have the chance to be release.I read in labor law here that in such cases like this that if my employer doesn't want to release me the court will be to give them order to release me so i can continue paying the bank.

Taking a big loan itself is a insurance against covering up for short and long term unexpected happenings and in doing so you are also putting your company and your bank too in a difficult but interesting situation. Your company does not want you and the bank will not let you go till they get their money and believe me you are in such a good positon and situation if you can somehow hang on here for some time and watch the two fighting over letting you go

what about the credit card there is what you call the credit shield.is this what you call the insurance for credit card.You said that it will take months to get clearance for this one even the insurance will be the one to settle this.

If he can not pay off the personal loan and his employer is not willing to give him an NOC. What can he do?

He can not leave the country and can not work. How on earth can he pay off his debts???

Will he go to JAIL?

For credit card they will reimburse all amount until you spend on the date of termination.

For personal loan you have to settle everything. Without settling the personal loan you can not leave the country. If your company not notify your termination to the bank then no problem for leaving the country.

If your termination informed the bank by your employer without clearing your outstanding loan amount they will put your name black listed.

For credit card reimbursement you have to wait so many months and it is long procedure. I have all this experience.
