Temporary Driving License extension after business visa extension

Hi guys,

I am working on business work visa.

it is issued for 1 month during entry and later extended to 2 more months.

I entered qatar on 1 month visa on sunday.. still my visa is not extended...

i have a temporary Qatar driving licence which i have to renew on entry.. normally i renew the license after my visa is extended..

this time it is taking longer to extend the visa..

so my question is that if i renew my driving license right now, i will get the new license with validity upto 1 month... i have to pay 150QAR for renewal..

Later after my visa gets extended do i need to visit traffic department again for a new license with extended validity??? and do i need to pay 150QAR again for the renewal???

Les, Go by their expiry dates either it's a visa or licence .......... don't spoil your records for just Riyals 150 ...... plus ask your manager to call the HR & accounts to refund your renew charges ........ they must regard you as you are helping out in their business ...................
