Well spelling mistake is there since i came to Qatar and i just ignored it for several years but my new company requirement is that it should be the same as mentioned in the passport and due to some reasons i need it to be changed as soon as possible.
What difference does it make? I had a relative here whose name in the passport was spelled very different from that in the QID, This took place as the Mandoob could not spell her name correctly in Arabic. But she stayed here for several years, traveled to and from Qatar several times and even had a job.
Suggest, you overlook it unless you are very sensitive on this. Alternatively, talk to your Mandoob or your HR people.

Hi @dohagmaes,
did you manage to correct the spelling mistake in the QID. I am also having same scenario. if yes, can you please share the experience. Many Thanks .
sorry: Read "did not change any jobs."
You have a point there. In my relative's case this issue did not arise as she did change any jobs.
