Short term investments to make money grow in Qatar for Expats

Hello dear reader,

Could you please assist me on understanind how to make money grow in Qatar. I am an expat and checked saving schemes in my bank as well. But it was not much helpful. They are asking to invest minimum of 10000 QAR in order to earn interest benefit. I do not have 10k as of now to invest. But maybe I can invest 1500-2000qar each month. I would like to know what are the other methods to make money grow for Expats in Qatar. Currently gold prices have gone high to 162QAR per 1gm, so i am not excited to invest in gold too. Moreover QAR to INR exchange rates are not too great at the moment. Can you share your experienes and knowledge please.
