Residency for baby born in Qatar "denied"..

I need your advise!

I gave birth last 20th december 2012 here in Doha and filed a residency for my baby boy and we waited till my husband received a call from MOI which says that we have to report at their office the next day. when we reached there, they informed us that we have to send our child out of the country the soonest as he is not holding any residency though they were surprised how we will send a 1year old baby away from the parents which both are working here (but that's the instruction to them). the main problem was my husband cannot file a residensy for our child under his sponsorship because i (the mother) is not under his sponsorship as we are working on the same company which he owns and i'm sponsored by the company. we tried to go to immigration to settle the issues but it seems like there is no way to solve it but to send him out of the country.

we already booked a ticket for him and my sister to acompany him but really i don't want to send him out specially without us (parents). what we will do? my husband already meet the committee couple of times but still no progress at all.

I'm a mother who wants my kids just right next to me. please help.

MM... honestly you are not helping in your comments so better to shut your mouth. finally everyone here in Qatar (expats) are here for money and career. and me choosing to stay here is to process the necessary which is to transfer his sponsorship under mine. the thing is, being away away from him for a couple of months is uneasy. don't judge me as a mother... judge yourself on how you look into things...

Anatah , You knew the ' problem ' and its consequences are now up .

Are you telling the truth that you want your kids next to you ? Then why are you sending your sister in place of yourself ? You have to decide between money { your career } and care for your kids . But you already chose money { career }. So you denied a mother's care to a two years old kid . ...... It 's my observation ......................................... Mon , 12.05.2014, 08.33 hrs

I and my wife are under work visa, therefore i tried to change my one year old daughter under my sponsorship and i have visited 3-4 times to gharraffa immigration, but unfortunately they have rejected my documents. initially they said as per new rule they can provide resident permit for my kid under my wife's sponsorship and for that they have requested her degree certificate, bank stmnt, employment contract copy etc. since my wife doesn't have degree qualification im unable to go head.

what to to ... this is our fate.

(but there are people still doing all these things illegally for 7,000 to 10,000. this is the prevailing situation in Qatar.)

one of my friend faced same problem he couldn't make resident for his baby. u both did small mistake that, you would have done marriage registration Qatar before you get baby. now its too late to solve the issue.. you have to follow the instruction of MOI or use some influence. All the best...
