I have one. I bought it in January -2014. I bought the PE variant, which is the base model). Working well so far (touch wood). The first service was at 1000 km and the technicians there are very friendly and even go as far as to call you the next day to ask how the service was. Its pretty spacious inside as long as you are not obsese or extremely tall of sorts. There is a lot of space for passengers in the back as well. The trunk space is the winner to be ohnest. Lots and lots of space. Its got a 2.0L engine; so for this price the engine capacity being offered is amazing ! The ground clearance is good as well and you should be able to easily do some "pavement jumping" easily at trafficy places. The A/C cools pretty well and ive tested it in the afternoon the last couple of days.

Ok..u ready for the negatives ? PE version has only one airbag and no ABS. This will mean that you will end up braking quite abrubtly at places. But you will get used to it. For some reason i can feel the gear shifts inside the car some times and the you must sometimes push the accelerator quite hard for it to shift to the next gear. Same goes when i slow down at time. The car kinda shrugs and jerks to a halt. I am thinking it might be different on a SE model. There is definately a lack of spaces to put thing like mobile phones and bottles at the same time. Your petrol tank opens to the right of the car ( a blessing at petrol stations- no line) but you need to hand out a key for them to open the tank and fill petrol. There is only one read fog lamp and one rear back up light. They will tell you that this is standard international standard. I dont know how i will explain this at the technical inspection after 5 years. Some road noice can be heard if you go above 120 on highways. Seats are pretty hard and you will NOT find seat covers easily at car accessories places. Doors and stuff inside feel fragile..so please be careful with it. I feel the coat of paint given is not strong enough and i can already see the marks of automatic car wash wipers after it has been cleaned.

Overall its a nice car if you are on a budget. I was. i am happy. Lot of people asked me to take toyota. I might suffer some day for not listening to them. But as of now, i am glad i have something different than corollas. Its got an amazing stereo by the way with bluetooth and USB connect. Guess what, it also has a steering control handle thingee to receive and cut call and change songs playing and all. Thats so cool. The manual says there are a lot of thing that will display on the dash near the speedo meter, like distance to next re-fuel and all. But none of these things are active in mine. I should take it up with the service people next time. The arm rest can be lifted up and put back down. How cool is that eh ? Note: it will be hard to pull the hand brake with the arm rest down. I keep it up most of the time.

Its absolutely worth the money they charge. But if you are looking for a car with a lot of fancy buttons and cool interior lights, this ones not for you. This is more like a daily construction site, highway, dusty road company car with a hell lot of space.

Let me know if you have something specifice you want clarified. I think you should buy it. But then again, im not you.
