Regarding a job/sponsorship issue:
Greetings. I would like to ask from your experience/knowledge regarding the happenings to one of my friend here in Qatar. He basically landed 1 months back here. And before he came here, he had applied a job through online application wherein he was selected/or in the near process(high chance) for a interview. This is with respect to a different employer he had applied. I believe the job he applied was on a semi-government. If I am correct, that should be affiliated to Qatar Foundation. Now, what I would like to ask is - What, in the case, if that employer contacts him? I hear that government can lift the ban provided they need the expertise. What are the other things my friend bear in mind?
As my friend is currently under a different sponsor, what things should he bear in mind? His RP hasn't yet been done, and so is his medical; it hasn't been done, too.
Is it that if an applicant is pursued by "high-profile" employers, the Qatar labor rule doens't imply?
