I just visited a contractors office today. One of the largest Engineering Services provider in Doha with more than 150 staff. They're still working the normal 9 hr day, 5 days a week. Muslims (a minority in this office) leave after 6 hrs of work. Others work regular timings without being paid overtime. Also, others work the first 6 hrs without a lunch break, as they've been told not to break for lunch until the muslims leave.
They are allowed to make you work 8 hours but have to pay you overtime for anything over 6 hours (i.e. 2 hours overtime in your case).
If this is not the case then raise it with your managers, citing articles 73 and 74 of the Qatar Labour Law. If that doesn't work you can consider reporting them, to the Labour Department I guess.
