QR 40 VANISHED FROM MY PREPAID QTEL ACCOUNT

I'm new to Qatar and like everyone around here I got myself a QTEL prepaid mobile connection. Well yesterday I recharged my prepaid account with a QR 50/- Hala card. I made a couple of calls and my balance was QR 47/- and then I put my phone away. A couple of hours later I recieved a sms from a strange number. The sms was completely in arabic with the exception of 2 words written in english: "Q*News" and "40". And immediately my balance was reduced to QR 7/- I find this real strange. If anyone knows anything about Q*News or how I can go about unsubscribing to this service in case I have subscribed to it by mistake. Pleeeeaaassseeee let me know. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

maybe Qrs40/- is no biggy to u,, but for some even Qr1/- means alot :) after all its their hard earned :P

Almost same thing happens to a friend of mine,, he bought a phone from najada souq, as per what he said is,, he gets msgs from mosaic and he loses QRs.4/- per msg. ultimately he had to change his phone,, and he dont recall subscribing to any service from mosaic.. as far as i know subscription to any services is related to the phone number and not the phone(instrument).. any info regarding such problem,, or any solution to unsubscribe any service??
What is QR 40 for you? forget it :)

this exact story was told word for word about 3 weeks ago!!!! If it happened to you again then there is something terribly wrong..
