QNB Bank

Can I sue QNB for falsely reporting of my friend as defaulter and get him arrested by police? the poor guy has to spend a night in jail, handcuffed while getting produced in court.

All his mistake was to not to report the bank that he is changing his job. The bank had four months emi worth money lying in his account. He had never defaulted for last one and half year as money was auto deducted.

Plz help

there is no point going to a Qatari court. It's a pseudo-legal entity which does not pronounce justice but snatches it away. it is formed just as a formality to show that qatar is just nation. All for the sake of advertisement.

By the sounds of it your friend was on the wrong by not informing the bank of changing company . On what ground will you sue ?

yeah I would read the terms and conditions. If it doesn't mention what will happen if he doesn't notify QNB of employer change, then you could sue them

Yes, he can if he is sure injustice was done. I believe he would be needing the services of a lawyer.

It depends on what you have on 'your terms and conditions' .Read through those terms and conditions severally so that you will understand the DOs and DONTs before you launch any legal battle so that you dont get stranded along the way.

Surely it's your friend who should sue. Tell him to contact consumer protection office

But please let me know if he can sue QNB? He has now sold his car to return the loan with bank. But this has really upset him as he felt very humiliated and thinking to Teignmouth to his country.
