Even if your company is really affected by a "crisis" there is still no justification if you won't get your salary till december.

Better report the matter to the authorities, like Ministry of Labor, before the problem gets really worst and out of control.

There are several companies here in Qatar which are very much fair and square to their employees, so look for them; you don't deserve a that kind of unfair treatment if ever they are really pushing through with that scenario.

The best way is to talk to your boss seriously about the matter.

All of you employees should unite and file a complaint in Ministry of Labor with proof that your salary has not been paid. December is still 5 months away. It isn't worth working for them if they can't afford to pay you for the half of the year.

of course Qatar is affected by the global economic crisis, even though they like to pretend they are not for the sake of promoting investor confidence. However, that is no excuse for not paying salaries and it sound like your boss is just a scammer. Take it to the Labour Board.

It's all a lame excuse by your company..No salary until december is too long period..I think your company wants to get rid from giving BONUS to its employees during EID(if it's in your company policy)which is indeed a shameful act...

It means that your company is affected by some crisis not Qatar. But whatever, they shouldn't be making excuses for not giving salary in time. It is punishable by law if reported.
