Pros and Cons of buying property in Qatar

Hi,

What are the pros and cons of buying property in Qatar.

Advise needed from experienced Q residents. Please advise areas to target for buying specially when i am on a tight budget. Am not interested in pearl qatar or zig zag tower properties as they are beyond my budget and i cannot afford those.

Advise accordingly please.

From what I understand is that you can never OWN it, it's a 99-year lease only!

From what I understand, you can buy in other areas that are cheaper than Pearl/Zig-zag. But the problem there is that apparently demand is low so you will have difficulty selling it if you needed to....
