Prescription Medication
I have a condition known as Crohn's disease, which is treated with a combination of medications. One of my painkillers (hydrocodone) is not available anywhere at all. Went to a gastroenterologist and he basically accused me of lying to obtain meds, even though I had pages of documentation from my USA doctor, my prescription bottles, etc.
My question is ... can I have my US prescriptions filled and then shipped over here to me .. with any confidence that they will make it to me? The last package that I had sent here (just some socks, games, etc), was ripped open by customs, repackaged, taped up, then delivered. Didn't instill a huge amount of confidence in the system.
Thoughts and advice are greatly appreciated!
Been to three doctors already ... there aren't alternatives, trust me. I just want to know if I can have them shipped here, either direct or through the Ministry of Health
Opioid analgesics, including codeine and it's derivatives like hydrocodone are banned in Qatar and if you were caught trying to import them, even with a prescription, you may well find yourself in hot water.
You will find a doctor who can prescribe an alternative.
