Proper busgeting and prioritizing (in principle but very hard in parctice)with lots of self control and will power.

You have to live within your means.. This may mean cutting back on expenditure and even moving to a smaller place.

The main thing is to not get into debt, which you may find difficult to pay off.

Be careful with "part time" jobs, because there are too many crooks around..

My honest opinion is that if you're having financial problems and can't find any way to trim the expenses, then get out of Qatar before you get yourself into deeper problems..

Good Luck..

Yes, part time jobs are illegal, however it's the getting caught part that is the problem.

If you work part time for a company you are in the public eye so to speak.

If you have a talent that you can utilize around the expat community, in your spare time, such as house cleaning, baby sitting, tutoring, piano lessons, baby photos or some such ... you get the idea, I'm sure.

Just don't advertise openly (such as QL), use word of mouth among trusted friends.

Have a long private chat with your Employer and explain to them your situation , be specific and diplomatic. Hopefully you can both settle for a very reasonable solution.

Cheers,

If u r under their sponsorship, it would be difficult for u to move on to another job unless they give you release, ofcourse.
