PLEASE HELP REGARDING AIR TICKET
Dear QLers,
Need help. Me and my wife are going vacation within 4 months. As we return, we will bring our 2 year old daughter from Manila to Qatar. Looking through airways websites to look for better prices before purchasing tickets, i found out that it will be cheaper to buy 3 two way tickets (Doha-Manila-Doha) for me, my wife and daughter rather than to buy 2 two way ticket (Doha-Manila-Doha) for me and my wife and 1 one way ticket (Manila-Doha) to our daughter.
If we choose to buy the cheaper option which is 3 two way tickets, will any problem occur on the immigration regarding the ticket of my daughter when we are on the Manila airport going back to Qatar and is there a possibility that she will not be allowed to go here in Qatar???
Thanks for your sincere reply peepzzz... Have a nice day...
kuwait airways is a lot more cheaper than any other airlines but you will be suffering from stop over. From doha-kuwait-bangkok-manila vise versa.
for vasit visa my friend need raturn ticket and for parmanent residance parmit no problem raturn or oneway
As I understand you are having issue with the cost associated with one way ticket. I would suggest, buy 2 tickets doh-manila-doh and one for your daughter manila-doh-manila. I am sure that will workout cheaper. Or if you plan to fly through Qatar Airway, look in QL for people selling QMiles, you can negotiate and buy the QMils for one way ticket for a reasonable price.
Hope that will helps you.
Approx Dates:
Depart - Manila (MNL) to Doha (DOH)Thu, 4 Oct 2012
Return - Doha (DOH) to Manila (MNL)Fri, 2 Nov 2012
Doh-MNL-Doh = QAR. 3460
MNL-Doh-MNL = QAR. 4505
Qatar Airways.
Just one more thing, while buying your daughters ticket, keep the return ticket OPEN, such that you can use the same to confirm while your next trip to manila...
Fubar is correct.
Mandi
The question is , what is your 2 years baby doing alone there?
If you buy a return ticket, and do not use the outbound (Doha - Manila) portion, the return sector (Manila - Doha) will be automatically cancelled by the airline.
based in my experience dealing with the ticketing agency for our staffs - if the ticket is originating Doha, then by all means first ticket sequence (Doha/Manila) should be use first before you can use the Manila/Doha.
it will be a problem since your daughter will not use the first sequence but only the second sequence.
better you clarify that with your travel agent or the airline - or you lose more money instead of saving few...
I think you should be more concerned about the visa of your daughter than her air ticket:)
