pioneerpec: If it was Qatari Riyal there is a better way. Just take it to Doha Bank branch at bank street and they will exchange it for you. I have done it.

If it was Qatari Riyals , just stick it with a tape and deposit it in ATM . The machine is dumb and easy to fool...QNB deposit is along the long edge of the Note and QIB deposit is along the short edge of the note. So if it is not accepted in QNB go to QIB :)
Also say Sorry in advance for the person who will be withdrawing it :)
If you are unable to exchange it, you may just drop it in the Qatar Charity or Qatar Red Crescent donation box available at most supermarkets. They will take care of it.
I had a lot of loose coins of UAE Dirhams which I could not exchange and that's what I did. But to do this, you need a big heart!
I don't think you could do this here since it is a Kuwaiti Dinar. I don't think even the Kuwaiti embassy would be able to help you in this as embassies usually don't do this type of thing. However, you can give it try. Some Kuwaiti present there may help you out on a personal basis.
