Meanwhile my company terminated me when i m in my home country and also my visa was expired. Now i have to sell my car. Is it any other way i can sell my car. Kindly share any one has experience. Your advice will be appreciated. Thanks & Regards

Please issue a Power of Attorney to any person who is residing in Qatar to sell & transfer the ownership of the vehicle on your behalf in front of the Traffic Department, the POA must be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your home country, the Qatar embassy there, your country’s embassy in Qatar and the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The above response is provided by GTG Qatar. Contact them for all your visa-related needs: +974 4442 2033 or visit www.gtg.qa

If your visa has already expired and you are out of the country, unfortunately there isnt much you can do. If you had a valid visa, then you could have transferred the car to a friend, who can in turn sell it and send the money across to you.
The solution that I see in my limited experience is to contact your company and let them help you out by writing a letter to traffic to allow the confiscation and subsequent sale / or transfer of the vehicle to some one you nominate / or transfer under the company's name. They can in turn sell the vehicle and send the money to you. I am assuming the company would be at least consider this to help you out.
Other than this , I dont see much options available for you. Hope this helps.

Do you still have access to Metrash2? If so you can transfer to a friend first and they can help to sell it for you.
Otherwise you'll have to go through the power of attorney route.
Gopi, Open your Laptop .....
one of my friend looking for the car ...let me know the details of the car.....
Gopi will feel better by tomorrow , with a hint on how to take the next step ........ by tomorrow ...... after 3 days he will see the matter resolved ....... Insha Allah ..............
Molten: Gopi is asking for "real" solutions to his "real" problem. He is not interested in your "philosophical" advice.

Yes, your case is typically a difficult one. If you have a friend in Doha, possibly he could help you out but he will need to do some legwork. Ask your friend to go and meet the captain at the Traffic Police HQ and explain to him the situation. He may know a way out. I guess the Maroor works till 6 pm
Hi Gopi,
Your circumstance reminds me of my colleague dates back 2014. She bought a brand new SUV, due to her illness she left the country for treatment to her hometown. By the time her QID expired and she lost her job.
She couldn't able to sell the car neither people want to buy. As you will be aware everything is linked with you QID.
She tried even the MOI explaining her situation, but in vain.I do believe, I am not helpful here.
Thanks
