Not getting Department signature to complete resignation

Hi All,

I have resigned my job from a private company 25 days back and my previous Manager did not try to stop me instead he told me I just need to serve 30 days notice period as part of the company contract and I agreed as well. After two weeks my manager changed and the new manager is saying that without completing the projects he will not give clearance from the our departmenT. With that only I can apply for cancelling my RP and to proceed with further  HR formalities. i can handover the project to another colleague but they are not agreeing. Is there any way to get my experience letter and End of Benefit. I want to leave from here because my parents need my support as they are not well. If I go to the labour department is there any luck. I have completed multiple projects prior to this without any issues. But the current project will take take couple of months which will change a lot of things for me.

your kind advice is much appreciated.

Thank you

The thing is that like any other country in this world, there are a lot of good thins in qatar and also some bad..

We shouldn't just see things through rose coloured spectacles..

Applaud the good and discusss the bad , so that it can get better.

As I said, first talk to your embassy.

The problem with going to labour court is that whilst you will probably get all your dues, your company make take a hard headed approach to issuing letters of service etc

HR says that if the department wants to stop me they can do with full control. But if I proceed with Labour court will I get the Experience letter, End of benefit and no remarks in HR records with the company as well..?

Speak to HR again. Explain that you have gone through the process as required.

the only other option is to first contact your embassy for advice and then go to the Labour Court and file a complaint
