Need professional advice
What is the minimum year to obtain a PhD? I know it takes normally around 3 years in UK, but is there any other place or Univ (Preferably in QATAR) which takes lesser time to finish off? I currently hold 2 Bachelors degree of which one is from oxford, 1 masters (MBA) and a professional degree as well. I know that qualification also matters in enrolling for a PhD. I have done a search about this, but was of no use.
Many Thanks.
that I know of, except maybe QU in Islamic Studies. CNAQ only offers associate degrees. None of the unis in EC offer doctorates either. I know this because my wife was looking into pursuing one in English here but she has to do it back home.
I guess u can do online phd aswell from different universities worldwide
strange, follow what ajmani has said..Contact QATAR UNIVERSITY...
Yes, to complete PhD really depends on the type of preparation for a particulat subject that one opts for..Thesis should be complete with your lots of inputs and ideas in it..
Thanks ajmani. As far as i know, CNAQ does not offer PhD. But is it worth doing here in Qatar if they have one?
Thanks Soniya. But i dont want to go back to India. Any univ's in Qatar?
PS: Anyone who wish to advice can post their comments in this thread and not through PM's with your 'hai bye' comments. huh!
As long as you are a post graduate, you can apply for the PhD degree. Ofcourse, your percentage in PG degree has to be higher. Now, it may take anywhere between 2-10 years to complete your PhD for a simple reason that you will have to select your subject and prepare thesis on the same. This thesis has to be unique, with support from lot of research. I personally think that it will take 3 years when you are 100% on the studies. Good luck with your PhD. As in Qatar, you can approach Qatar University, or CNA-Q, or other colleges to confirm if they offer PhD here!
I don't know about QATAR..But in INDIA, it takes 2 years to complete PHD.I hope i am right with my information..
