Need Advice

I need some help to understand the work rules in Qatar , am not happy with my current package and I would like to change my company because am getting better offers but I don’t know what is the law for labors in Qatar , my current company don’t give me “no objection letter” or release letter , so what can I do ? If you know something about this matter please write me and I would be highly appreciate it.

sorry apower3000 i was away, and yes after the 2 years u can enter qatar as u wish (as an employee) but really this isn't practical in your case, the best way as Lady Di said is to ask for adjustment, or else u will go for legal struggle with your employer which might end for his favor.

That will be a big problem if your Company will not give you NOC. Your last choice is to request a salary adjustment, just like what i did,or go back to your Country and wait for 2 years

U cant change ur job, I will second what everyone has said.. take it or leave qatar.

Guys  , A slave that's hurt but it's the truth , i wouldn't stay here if I know my home countery is safe to live in......thank you for your help ..

what will happen after two years , i mean i will be free to join another company without NOC after two years.

well, the only way out of ur contract is to prove that ur current employer violated his obligations with u, in salary, benefits, any other obligations, or u will have to stay with him or leave Qatar, and then he might  prohibit u for 2 years i think from entry rights to qatar.

Note : if u have been working for long with him, this is another case, but u should consult a qatari lawyer,

U can talk to the company that u want to move to and ask them if u canceled ur RP will they give u  a visa to come back to qatar, thats the only way

 

or maybe u can contact human rights about that.....but not sure they will solve ur problem
