Moving to Canada and need a shipping company

Moving from Saudi

Hi there, We are finally leaving Qatar sadly, but require a moving/shipping company to move our stuff. Does anyone know a good, moderately priced, reliable compnay? In addition, does anyone know costs, how long it takes to ship that distance, should we do the packing, what's necessary at the Canadian customs, and what to expect??? Thanks in advance.

My brother used this company http://www.nyshipping.com/  when his family moved to the US.  But I read in their site that they also cater shipping stuff to Canada, and here are some helpful facts/tips (documents you need, etc.): http://www.nyshipping.com/canada-international-movers.html

contact this number they offer the service for door to door relocations. Transit time would be approx 40 days. But still expect some delays due to port congestion and there is no direct sailling.

Make sure your shipping company is delivering "door to door" That makes it easier on the other end. You will need a list of everything in your shipment, the shipping papers and you will need to visit the nearest Canada Customs office in order to clear the goods. If Customs wants to inspect it, they will arrange for that at the receiving shipping agent's premises but shouldn't be necessary if your papers are in order.
