MOFA VERIFICATION PROCESS

All, one week ago I had been to Ministry of Expatriates Affairs Qatar (office near abu hamour) to submit contract and get my RP, they ask me to show my original certificates. The document was already attested by all the relevant authorities in India, but i was not having the Bonafide certificate.
When I gave the original, the person at the desk check then told me that they will keep the certificate for now, they will make an enquiry / follow a process. I had asked him what is the reason. but they issued me a receipt and told me wait till i get the call.
Did some have a similar experience? If yes, what is the time required for there process? and when i get my certificate back..
