disconnect the electricity and have the battery to be fully discharged.

Once fully disharged, plug to electricity again and have it fully charged.

Is a way of preserving the "full" life of the battery.

Regards!!

When using a notebook computer running from fixed line power over extended periods, the battery shld be removed and stored in a cool place so that it is not affected by the heat produced by the computer. have to use it once i a while though,it will degrade over time even if left in storage

It will "remember" that it only has to charge a little bit, if it is constantly connected. This will lead to less charging capacity.
