Keep Calm and Stress Less!
Nowadays it just seems like you can't escape stress no matter what. Once you're over one hurdle, another one just pops out of nowhere and before you know it you're stressing and pulling out your hair. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people that just stress about every detail in life. When I was in high school, I thought 'OK I just need to get through this and I won't have to stress about anything again". Hilarious, I know. I'm well past high school now, and trust me; it did not get any easier.
During the past two days (November 11th-12th) I had the opportunity to attend the Qatar International Business Women Forum at the St. Regis. The conference attracted hundreds of participants from all around the globe and brought together a diversity well established and accomplished individuals. A lot of informative and interesting lectures and panels were held at the event, however one specific lecture by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev stood out for me. It was about dealing with our bodies in terms of food. Many of us are guilty of eating unhealthy foods or having bad habits to deal with stress. When someone pointed out in the audience what they need to do in order to manage stress, he replied by saying "Why would anyone want to manage stress? You've made stress a part of your life! You're stressful because you keep it alive." Thos three sentences were like an epiphany to me. Instead of trying to keep my life stress free, I'm just trying to find ways to accommodate the stress. Stress is just a state of mind, so next time you're in a not so great situation, don't think of it as stressful, and think of it as challenging! And remember, this is a stress free zone!

I just learned to let go of things I can't control and at the end of the day I tell myself thank God I'm still alive.i don't sweat the small stuff anymore

STRESSED spelled backwards is "DESSERTS". So eat sweets and indulge yourself with some wonderful desserts. One effective stress reliever. :)
