Job Offer at Hamad Medical Corporation

Hi all, need some help and advice. I have been approach through LinkedIn by Hamad Medical Corporation for a management role. I have been verbally offered the role and had agreed the compensation package but I am still waiting for my official offer letter, they have informed me that they are getting authorisation. Can someone please explain the recruitment process and how long does it take.

Hi All, thanknyoubfpr all your comments and advice. Just received my offer letter this morning, i spoke to the recruitment officer and was told that she will apply for my visa tomorrow a d can take 2 weeks. Does visa processing times vary depending on your nationality?
My friend was interviewed for a IT Service Desk Role in HMC in December 2013 but he was able to join them in May 2014 so almost 5-6 Months.
My suggestion would be not to resign from your current company till your entry visa is issued by HMC.

Hamad online application is connected with IBM Co. based in Abu Dhabi, it is their official recruitment firm and not linkedin. You will count at least a year before they will recruit you however there is no assurance.
Welcome to the team. HAMAD is a great company to work for. I have been very happy. Best to count on at least one year. I got lucky and made it here in 8 months after reciving my offer letter. But one year is typically the norm. Good luck. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions. Cheers
