Hello all,

I am new here and urgently looking for Islamic (Arabic) schools and KGs for my kids. Anything similar near SALWA Road would be great. I would appreciate any responses or suggestions.

Dear Adiga23

we are moving to Doha in Jan. For my son, who is 10, we are looking for a school that encourages and inculcates Islamic values among students. For my daughter who is 5 years, we are looking for a good Arabic medium school. I would really appreciate any help you might be able to offer.

Thanks

I think those two schools are the only Islamic ones in Qatar. Iqra seems ok, my kids attend it now, but they have limited spaces. I've tried Almaha before, but I didn't like it because of various reasons. Actually there's a another Islamic school, which I don't know much about, called Alarqam. Feel free to contact me regarding this matter, I'll Inshaalaah try to help.

Try Al-Maha - in the Mamoura area.

They have an ok Primary and a fantastic KG. They're not Arabic but Islamic English.

There is an Islamic Arabic KG As-salaam also near mamoura lights - take a left then a 2nd right (I think) just before the bump - then oppposite the park there's a right turning and the school is on your left.
