instincts....
my friends has this situation wherein she's finding difficulty to trust her insticts or live with a fact that it could just be a hunch or effect of thoughts clouding one's mind....which comes to a question....
how do you assess your instincts?... i mean when should you follow it, risking that you might end up in an ugly situation (or the great possibility of jumping into conclusion)...and when to disregard them, the regretting in the end for not following it....am i making any sense?
I find that when I dont like what my instinct says then I try to reason my way out of it, and it never ends well.
Always follow what your gut instinct says, not what you want it to say!

I do have a strong instinct.. when I follow it, I am safe… but my problem is if I don’t like whatever my instinct is saying to me, I don’t listen to it, and follow whatever I WANT…(my "I WANT" is very strong, much stronger than I MUST...)
...but in most of the cases my instinct helps me to stay out of trouble…

alexa, you know what? its kind of creepy now...i'm discussing instincts here and there you are on the other thread asking about tarrot cards, dreams....i dont know (now feeling creepy and soooo odd)...but somethings is going to happen (to me or someone)...i'm having palpitations, and im restless....

but what if you did listen to your gut feel, this natural feeling, sixth sense, then come to find out later that you are wrong...then what? does it mean that you will not follow the next time....
btw, just want to share this...today, i was having this "natural feeling" that something odd/strange with our building..only now that we were informed that there was an AC fire on top where my exact room is.. hmmmmm...

Instincts are nothing but what you wanted to do. Conscience tell you it will be wrong. It is upto you to choose in between the two.
Generally I understand when something is not right or more clearly something is wrong, it is just vibes that I get and my senses tell me I am doing the right or the wrong thing.
To communicate something to another person because of a vibe - hmm better to wait until the vibe has confirmed itself.

hmmmm...im trying also to answer this question....as per my experience, my instincts is like 60/40....60% was right about it...then hated the 40% that screwed my life for following it...:P so still the questions remains, when should one trust it and not?.... bit hard to think of the answer (guess that im already hungry..lol)

Owen, my instinc so far never wrong and always safe me from danger. Hope your friend can be more sensitive to hers instinc and can listen more to it.
