INNER WORLD

A lot of us are disturbed with our current situations and circumstances in life, but we should not allow the outer world damage our inner world, what is happening around us need not change our thoughts and our inner self unless we allow it to. We get so consumed by the situations around us that we feel depressed, worried etc.... and the best way is to work out a solution to our problem in the outer world, while we leave our inner world untouched by the problems of the outer world. Each day take 3 minutes to close your eyes and turn off your thought factory and see how you feel.

I used to teach meditation in the UK as part of the' other life' other than work. I used guided meditation techniques and this helps shut down the little dog that yaps at the front of the mind until you can do it yourself. I always did this in groups as part of the insurance cover etc. Once I have somewhere to live, other than the hotel, then I could help those who want to meditate with some pointers etc. It can be done with some focus but at present, just arrived 2 weeks ago, settling in, looking for a place etc, focus is not great at present.John

I agree it is not easy to isolate from our situations so easily but with practise we will learn the method of being on track....
