Some one please correct me if I am wrong. Last month one of friend approach ICC for passport renewal but they refused and advised him to go to embassy as ICC is not supporting for renewal of Passport.

Correct Molten Metal:

Because some company not give paid leave; Even not give 2 or 3 hours permission.

So QR 10 is mooooore less than our salary!!!

Don’t waste time in Indian embassy. Because Very long queue.

So call to INDIAN CULTURAL CENTRE, they ll tell the required documents. And ask them office timing. I think can submit documents up to 8:30 PM. Friday also they are working. They are authorized from Indian embassy. Fee also same like India embassy + QR 10 commission.

Step 1. Go to embassy to renew your passport

Take 3 pp photos(white background)

Fill the form available online in Indian Embassy website and take it or go get it filled by ppl standing outside embassy who does it for 5 to 10 QAR per form.

Take your old password (!)

Step 2-

After collecting renewed passport from Embassy, Go to Immigration Department(MOI) and get your RP re stamped in new passport . ( Your company PR can help you on this).

for transferring your RP to new passport I think 100QR

Take your old passport and go to indian embassy. Typist outside will fill form. Get along your passport photo also. Atleast 3 nos. Go inside the embassy and follow the procedure. Tell them my rp is valid ib the old one. Normally they will staple the old and new passport togtogether.
