I phone 4: is this is a scam or genuine?

Dear All,

I refer to a host of so-called dealers advertising I phones (and other electronics) at throw-away prices, in the QL Classifieds. The I phone 4, for example, is offered at QR 1800-2000. See some links below:

They all claim to offer factory unlocked and genuine products. The catch however is that you have to pay them in advance and then they deliver to you from UK/Malaysia etc. to Doha. Their websites also seem to have the same profiles copy/pasted in the 'About Us' section for instance. They call from a country code from South Africa.

The question is, can these guys be trusted? Has anyone in Qatar bought and successfully used products, especially iPhone 4 from them?

If they are a scam, then shouldnt QL Classifieds do a better job at screening advertisements?

ask them for "payment on delivery" and you will get your answer :)

Make Sure the Seller is in Qatar by checking for a local phone number and don't ever buy anything listed in $. Read Avoiding Scams and Fraud for more advice.
