how to deal with loneliness...in Doha

buncheez
By buncheez

We're all lonely for something we don't know we're lonely for. How else to explain the curious feeling that goes around feeling like missing somebody we've never even met?
Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the spaces between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.

How to deal with loneliness?...hmmm...kind a difficult for me now maybe you know how, send me you inputs.

Thanks for all the advises, it'll surely help me deal with it as each day passes. As u may not know, I just been here for 3 months only but surprisingly this feeling of being alone have already set in.

I don't go out much unless I need to go for shopping or grocery but that's about it. As I may put it, its pretty much boring, thus contributing much to my loneliness.

Friends can somehow lessen the feeling but at the end of the day, it would left me worrying.

Hey, hope I am not boring you all with my petty sentiments, well, I guess this why QL is here for.

Thanks again for your help.

Mabuhay!

get Yamaha keyboard and crawl into the spaces between the notes again.. what's the problem?

I hope they have this kind of product here in Doha..

it's a good idea, i might get one for myself too.. oh no, it's doesn't mean i feel lonely or bored.. .. but just for relaxing..

to be honest I am not familiar with the feeling of loneliness or boredom.. I think I am just self-sufficient..

It was actually the poet Maya Angelou who wrote - "Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness."

Subscribe to Groups of your liking here on QL. They organize outings and other activities. Just don’t let your guards down and be cautious still.

I’m touched by what you said “Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the spaces between the notes”.

Why “was not “is”?

I know what it is to feel so lonely that it was like physical pain. You just need to keep getting up- run, running is good- and try to go back to what you were before you started feeling so lost. Even if you have just one mirror.. dance in your pants... x
