How to burn a CD without any trouble?
Yesterday I burnt a few CD's and there was chaos all around! I started the burning process inside my flat and there was thick black smoke and the smell of burning plastic. Then I used a long stick to push it outside the main door to the foyer. Suddenly the smoke alarm rang. The plastic had turned black by then. And my neighbours came out and shouted at me "what the hell do you think you are doing here?" I replied I am burning some CD's. They said they will call the cops.......
Now please tell me where did I go wrong?
@qhris... lolz
I hacked into your computer and discovered the c.d playlist was;
Sex on Fire- Kings of Leon
On Fire- Kasabian
Smoke on The Water- Deep Purple
Eternal Flame- The Bangles
Fire in the Hole- Van Halen
Intervention- Arcade Fire.
Please select some different songs for the disc.
Thank you.
put the CD's in the microwave and run it for 1 minute. effective!
brite, As per edifis we should take the word 'burning' literally.
is it MS Windows 7 ?
It's all Nero's fault, because he wanted to burn Rom.
If it's 'multisession', nott, you can even burn a CD-R again and again.
Having just googled and asked close technology minded colleagues, I believe that you are taking the term - "burning a CD" too literaly.
Apparently, Mr. Rizks, the local expert has informed me that it is something to do with software and you need a PC (whatever that may be)..
So, please do not endanger yourself any further and PM Rizks for clear instructions.
Yours sincerely
If you use CD -RW you can burn them again and again and again, and cause all the chaos you want to. With CD R's you can only burn once, so next time maybe go for RW's...
And as for course burning DVD's - that is a different matter, as you can get Dual Layers...
dunno if there are CD/DVD shredding machines here which is better than throwing it on fire.
problem could be with the burning software, i use to burn cd on the stove ;b
just put into fire......
edifis, were you burning files to the CD or were you burning to get rid of the CD?
Brit No I didn't use ordinary coal. I used smokeless charcoal.
You silly CD burner..
You obviously used coal. Next time use petrol as an accelerant to ensure combustion and cover the incense burner with your hat.
Good Luck!
i'm confused now :D
Really! I used a big size incense burner in which I frequently burnt frankincense and oudh! My neighbours never complained before. And it never overheated!
the CD burner overheated.
