House Rent Contract
By mindraider •
Hi,
I have a question regarding ending my house rent contract.
I have a contract on a 2 years and in the agreement it says If I have to leave I have to pay 3 month advance.
My question is, if my company cancel me does this still applies?
Many Thanks
No there is no clause.. thats bad I guess i have to pay 3 month.
its usually there in the agreement...if you have to leave for good, you just give a notice from the time you come to know you have to leave.
In such case, you will have to show him your employment termination letter.
If it's not there, you are at the receiving end of the deal and may be a tough ask. But you can speak to the landlord and tell him that you have no bucks and are leaving. mostly he should let you off with max one month's forfeit...coz there is nothing he will be able to do about it.
HTH
did u put a clause in the agreement??
i put mine, if i left the country for good, they will only deduct 1 month rent... and they will give back my balance of cheques...
