Help Needed

I wouldlike to know if any of you can guide me on this matter. I am looking for Caustic Soda or also know as Sugar Soap in the UK I believe. According to the dictionary it is sodium hydroxide, which I believe is being made in Qatar. However I can not find it in the shops. I would like to have some as I want to clean the wood work in my house. It is also fantastic for when you burn the rice and need to clean that pot. The burning of the rice happens regularly in my house as I cook rice for the cats outside, put it on the stove and forget about it. Hamdelliah the cats outside dont mind eating the rice.

Anyway can anybody help me. I dont need much. 1 kilo of the stuff will last me years.

Try asking in a pharmacy they may have it is used for industrial cleaning so they may have smaller amounts of it.
