Help on Buying a new car in Dubai and driving it to Doha

Hi All

I am planning to buy a new car in Dubai and want to drive it down to Doha. Normally for a Doha-Dubai-Doha road trip I would need Saudi Road Transit Visas which will include the registration details of my car in Qatar. But in this case as the car is new, how would I get the road transit visa here in Qatar. Basically I will be flying to Dubai and then driving back in my new car. Will I have to apply for the visa in UAE?

Getting a car bot in UAE to Qatar would approx cost you 10-15k riyals with taxes & stuffs.

You can only apply for a KSA Visa in a country where you live or have a resident permit. So if you have a Qatar RP, you have to apply with the KSA Embassy in Doha for a KSA Transit visa AUH-DOH.

As far as I know in Doha they do not ask for the car details.
